John 3:16 is one of the most well-known and foundational verses in the Christian faith. It reads:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (KJV)
This verse captures the essence of the Gospel—the message of God’s love and salvation through Jesus Christ. It emphasizes that God's love is universal and sacrificial, offering eternal life to all who believe in His Son.
At Redeemer's Tabernacle, John 3:16 is a cornerstone of our faith and mission. It shapes the message preached, the love shared within the community, and the outreach to the world. It calls the Church to reflect God's love, preach the good news of salvation, and invite all people into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
At Redeemer's Tabernacle Church, we believe that the love of Christ is the foundation of our community. We strive to embody that love in all that we do, whether it is through our worship services, our outreach programs, or our interactions with one another. We welcome everyone, regardless of background or beliefs, and invite you to experience the transformative power of Christ's love at Redeemer's Tabernacle Church.

At Redeemer’s Tabernacle, located in the heart of Brooklyn, New York, we are more than a church—we are a community of believers passionately committed to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, standing on biblical truth, and cultivating spiritual transformation. Led by Bishop Dr. Michael Clarke, our mission is rooted in salvation, worship, discipleship, and outreach. We invite you to join us on a transformative journey of faith, healing, and community empowerment.
In a world searching for meaning, hope, and direction, we stand committed to sharing the life-transforming message of Jesus Christ. Our mission is not merely a statement—it is a calling to proclaim salvation through faith in Christ, to equip believers with the unchanging truth of Scripture, and to serve with compassion both locally and across the globe. We believe that every person, regardless of their past, can be empowered to live a redeemed and purpose-driven life, reflecting the love and grace of God to the world around them.
At the heart of our faith is an unwavering trust in the truth and authority of God’s Word. We believe the Bible is the infallible foundation for life and faith, revealing the nature of the Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Our hope rests in the gift of salvation, given freely by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We are devoted to the power of prayer, praise, and worship, knowing they draw us closer to God and align our hearts with His will. And just as Christ served with humility and love, we are called to serve others, embodying His compassion in all we do.
Bishop Dr. Michael Clarke, founder and senior pastor of Redeemer’s Tabernacle, is a passionate servant-leader whose decades of ministry experience are matched by his deep commitment to community outreach. With a powerful testimony of transformation from military officer to minister, he brings wisdom, compassion, and integrity to every facet of his work. In addition to his spiritual leadership, Bishop Dr. Clarke is a seminary educator and licensed clinical pastoral counselor, equipping others for effective service in ministry. His influence extends beyond the pulpit as Vice Chairman of the 83rd Precinct Community Council and President of the 83rd Precinct Clergy Council, roles through which he actively engages in fostering safety, unity, and hope in Bushwick. Under his dynamic leadership, Redeemer’s Tabernacle has flourished as both a spiritual refuge and a cornerstone of the community.
“My opinion doesn't matter—only what God says. That's the foundation of this church.” — Bishop Dr. Clarke
